There are things like: Coaching, Consulting, Events, Workshops The key here is that these are all interactive services

You can also add interactivity to other products and programs, such as adding QnA webinar/tele-questions to a video course or along with another type of Product

Having interactivity included in your products and services is what enables you to charge big big prices

If you’re a talker, enjoying dealing with people, this business model can be a good one 🙂 What is the difference between coaching and consulting?

Coaching = Group Consulting = One to one

Pros

  • –  Quick and easy to start, barely need anything to start
  • –  Don’t have to create any products
  • –  Can easily charge high prices
  • –  Recurring Revenue
  • –  Freedom of Schedule, can choose to only work 9.00-12.00, three days a week if you like

    etc

  • –  Get to know clients 🙂
  • –  Low tech
  • –  Don’t need many clients if we do this right
  • –  Easy to sell

Interactive services can often be easier to sell than products

Imagine that some technical stuff is broken in your home, and that you want to fix that, which of these options is more attractive?

    1) Following a manual trying to figure out how to solve the problem/repair the thing
    2) Having a expert there pointing, telling and directing you to what to do
    3) Having a expert there working together with you, and in certain cases doing the work for

    you

    Cons
    – Might have a bad day, and have to deal with people – Schedule

    Tools
    – Laptop
    – Skype
    – Phone
    – ..notepad

Here is a simple 3 step exercise I learned a few years ago, of how to calculate and get an idea of what to charge for your interactive services

First Step: Write down a “monthly goal”, lets use $10,000 again for easy math
Second Step: Write down how many clients you would be comfortable working with each

month

Third Step: Now we take the “monthly goal”, and divide that by the number of clients we’ve decided to work with each month

10,000 / 15 = 667 10,000 / 10 = 1000 10,000 / 5 = 2000

So as it’s easy to see in this exercise/example we really don’t need very many clients with Interactive Services

And it’s up to you how to want your Consulting Program to be laid out, maybe you talk for one hour on Skype together, once per week, or once per month, and email back and forth with your clients?

If we imagine that you decide to charge $1000 per month and that 10 clients is enough, you might then create a schedule where you talk to each of them twice a month for an hour or so, and that is a very good income for relatively few working hours 🙂

Then your work schedule would be only one one-hour Skype call per day to make $10,000 per month, not bad…. not really a hectic schedule… 😛

Can you imagine what your lifestyle could look like if you created a business like that?
