Write as if you’re writing to a friend, brother or sister, don’t write as you are a big cold corporation

And don’t try to sell things directly in the email, most people find that obnoxious

Elements you can include:
• Why you’re sending the email
• What it’s about
• What it’ll do
• Why you’re sending the emails now
• CTA
• What to do at the next page/what the next page is about

ex:

Another element that is great to include is stories, just being friendly and casual, not so business like

The purpose of email is not to sell, it’s just to get our subscribers to click the link, and then they go to the page where we deliver what we promised in the email, and in some cases on that page we later sell something, but not always

And if you want to sell something on the page we link to, you can just at the end of the content there say something like:

“If you liked what I showed you on this page/video, you’re probably also going to like ______, you can clink the link below to find out more”

If you regularly pitch/try to sell directly from your emails people are going to start to think that you’re just trying to milk them of money

“I’m sick of this pushy salesperson, I thought he was a real dude, but now he pummeling us on the email list so much that I’ll unsubscribe and warn my friends too..”
